They never cease to amaze us with their commitment, their motivation, and their relentless tenacity in pursuit of their goal to study medicine. Some will juggle family life alongside, and the majority will be working full time, often in demanding environments. Added to this, ongoing voluntary work will be a part of their schedules, and yet every weekend at Imperial they arrive enthusiastic and ready to delve into GAMSAT. Our experience over the last twenty two years has shown that the diverse backgrounds of our students in terms of education, age, and career have only enhanced the learning experience, not only for them but also for their peers. GAMSAT is an extremely demanding examination and can be all consuming. The intensive preparation it requires mirrors many of the qualities required at medical school and beyond.
